Fine, if you want to clean coins i will show you the safest way I know First get heinz kethup and gently dab it on the coin, wait 2-3 mins depending on condition, gently rub of ketchup off coin, rinse coin with water and pat dry with towel then hold coin on edges and apply Mothers Polish on to the coin with a soft cloth rub off in circles gently.
I warn you never clean any coin unless it is slimed or rusted down or it most likely destroy the value and you can never get it back
It works with nickels too right

balsamic vinegar and salt is just as good as the 8% vinegar 1

AND these are envirnmental friendly methods to clean coins/metal! And they are cheap methods! And it’s not dangerous to you skin. Very good!

the easiest way to clean any silver is mix salt baking soda and water put the coin or silver on a peice of tin foil larger then the actual silver your cleaning put it in the water salt baking soda solution and it should clean it super quick there was a vid on youtube showing how to do this but cant remember what its called but ya use this method but usually only use it on jewellery but not any coins or other stuff cause cleaning lowers value on alot of stuff
Tarnex is the worst thing for coins, damage wise. It strips layers of metal off your coin. It also smells like death after.

I had pennys from 1937-1960 that I was told to use lemon juice and salt just mix them together and swish the pennys around in them it worked amazing they look mint except for one problem they aare a dull shade of copper and do not have that glossy finnish whats wrong and how much is the value decreased cuz if there worth nothing ill trade them they look amazing for being clean put there not that nice copper color that new pennys are
