Making Movies With The Sims 2 – Helpful Hints and Tricks
The creators behind The Sims 2 and fellow movie makers give you an inside look into the movie making world. I strongly recommend this for those just starting out, or for those who want to learn how to make their own machinima films. I learned a few tips and tricks from this myself! It’s extremely helpful, and even interesting. Be sure to pause and rewind on parts you think you need to brush up on; I need to work on my background scenery myself. xD!!! Enjoy! I got this from The Sims 2′s official website. (thesims2 dot com.) Also, if there’s something else you don’t see in here that you think would be helpful, please post a video of it and make a response. I wanna see your ideas! 
Also, this is from The Sims 2 deluxe edition, in other words, The Sims 2 + Nightlife. If you don’t have TS2 yet, GET DELUXE EDITION. It saves you some money, and you get one of the best expansion packs EA has ever released in your game. c: Top it off with Seasons and you should be quite content for a few months. xD I know I am. A suggestion from me: Don’t use the sound! I’ll post a video response of a video with sound enabled, and a video without it.

@pokythecat5 Wait what? Oh yeah, this happened to me before too. First of all, on modthesims2, make sure you are SAVING the item, not OPENING it. Save it to Your documents, then EA games, The Sims 2, Then downloads. When its done downloading, click open folder. Right Click on the Rar or Zip File you want to download, the extract here. I always right click twice to make sure it worked. If On the Sims 2, nothing is showing up? I`ve never had that before, but try a tutorial.

@lillylava Its this click on Titles And Credits, then click on Titles On The Selected Clip, then type what you want, different sizes, fonts, colours and effects! Dont worry when your figuring out which stuff to use for it, it will just show with the flower in backround but never mind that, when you finished just click on done!

@fishbowltakerII ive tried that and it still shows up really pixely, my computer can handle all the high graphics and video graphics and stuff it just keeps on showing up like crap =/
@fishbowltakerII setting the graphics in-game helps, but you should probably go to your camera options by clicking on the camera. i usually have mine set at medium quality and size because my computer can’t handle it. if yours can, put it on high quality and the largest size.
how do i enhance the sims 2 video, like i got all the graphics on high and stuff but idk how to make it un pixely in the movie =/

When you edit your videos on “Windows Movie Maker” (which you probably should be using if u wanna make sims2 vids) go to effects and go down to where it says “zoom in.” and then drag the effect into the little star box thing.
